Shan’s began in 1992, with O&M. Since then she has been in a wide spectrum of Media and Creative Agencies like, McCann, Lintas, FCB Ulka, Rediffusion, RK Swamy, Mindshare, Publicis, understanding and guiding the role, that both messaging and media, holds, in advertising. Currently she’s Chief Strategy Officer at Madison Media.

As an architect of communication strategies over the last 28 years, to some of India’s most iconic legacy companies and successful start-ups, across diverse categories, from Foods to Technology viz., Unilever, GSK, Nestle, Marico, Maruti, Sun Pharma, Cipla, BSNL, Whirlpool, Religare, Med Life, Xiomi, Naukri.com, Shan brings rich, insightful techniques and cross-category experience, needed for brands survival, in the new-world economy.

She has held diverse positions such as Office Head in RK Swamy and Rediffusion, to Head Business Transformation at Publicis, to Client Leader for Unilever and GSK at Mindshare.

Shan has 350+awards credited to her, across different categories/companies, nationally and internationally. She was the conceptualizer and leader of the famous, globally acclaimed “Kissanpur” campaign for Kissan Ketchup for Unilever.

Awarded “Best Client Leader of the Year 2015” in the prestigious “Exchange for Media” awards.

Been part of the MRUC Tech-com, when planning of the new IRS gold standards was happening.

Speaks at O.P Jindal Global Institute on topics such as “Industry 4.0: Cracking the Art of Storytelling” is a mentor to companies such as Denave, initiating dialogue on success strategies for Women@Work

Shan’s life mission is to enable a million women towards personal mastery for which she leads Mandala art workshops and debuted her workshop in New York in June, 2019. She believes in Ubuntu – “I am because we are”.
