Alexander Rutter

Alexander Hogeveen Rutter is the Private Sector Specialist for the International Solar Alliance and leads ISA’s Private Sector Engagement, including work on Building Resilient Solar Supply Chains and engaging private developers and financiers. He previously worked with IFC, leading their work in Asia-Pacific on energy storage and green hydrogen. He has worked for Boston Consulting Group as well as a public sector utility in his native Canada.

He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the Indian School of Business. He is the proud father of three children and hopes to help build a sustainable future for them.
