They also conceptualised and independently staged dance drama productions such as “Sitayana”, “Lankaa” and “Draupadi Antarkatha” bringing forth unique stories and themes from Indian epics in classical dance form.
Bhadra and Gayathri started training in Bharatanatyam from an early age. Gayathri learnt under Guru V Krishnamoorthi and Bhadra has trained under Guru Yamini Krishnamoorthy and the duo met when they resumed their dance tutelage under Guru Krishnamoorthi after a break of over a decade. They now continue to pursue advanced training in the art form under Guru Dr. Ratheesh Babu, while also creating their own productions.
Apart from following their passion for dance, the artists are also accomplished in their chosen professions. Bhadra is a respected senior journalist, while Gayathri is a corporate leader in Communications.
