Irtif Lone

Mr. Irtif Lone currently serves as an Executive Manager in the Handicraft and Handloom Department, with a primary focus on advancing innovation and technology within the sector. He previously led the J&K Startup policy and was honoured as one of the two Startup ecosystem builders in J&K for 2022 by Startup India. With over a decade of experience, he has actively facilitated the establishment of more than 100 ventures in the Jammu & Kashmir region through personalized guidance.

Furthermore, Mr. Lone played a pivotal role in shaping the J&K Startup Policy, which was officially adopted by the Government in 2018. He was also instrumental in establishing the first Atal Incubation Centre in the Union Territory. In addition to his extensive contributions, he actively mentors’ startups and holds advisory roles at various Incubation Centers, including those at Kashmir University and the National Institute of Technology.
