DE&I Leader Cummins Inc
Radhika
”Inclusion is not about ticking boxes - it’s about reimagining the very fabric of our society and economy. SABERA reminds us that real leadership is measured not only in profits, but in the lives touched and voices amplified. Recognizing good is the first step toward building a just and joyful India.

Radhika (Zainab Patel) is a transgender leader, DEIB strategist, and social entrepreneur whose work bridges grassroots activism with corporate boardrooms. With over two decades of experience across law, policy, human rights, and business inclusion, she has pioneered initiatives that expand livelihood, leadership, and dignity for marginalized communities in India.
She is the founder of The Trans Café and The Transformation Salon, both bold social enterprises employing and training transgender persons, and the driving force behind the Pride Business Network Foundation, India’s first LGBT+ business accelerator. Her leadership has influenced corporate DEI strategies for Fortune 500 companies, anchored CSR programs in manufacturing and financial services, and shaped national advocacy around health, social protection, and employment.
Radhika has served as an advisor to UNDP, participated in strategic litigation for transgender rights, and continues to mentor queer, disabled, and women entrepreneurs across the country. A Kamalnayan Bajaj Fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, she blends spiritual practice with systems-level change, anchoring her leadership in values of equity, accountability, and resilience.
Recognized as a speaker and thought leader, Radhika’s work reflects her conviction that inclusive growth is not charity—it is strategy. Her projects are proof that when businesses and communities invest in dignity and diversity, they unlock innovation and sustainable impact.
