Ravanan is an astute thought leader with over 25 years of experience in managing teams across Content, Sales & Business Development, Product Development, and Operations Management across leading telecom operators in India.

Ravanan joined Verse Innovation in 2008. He currently serves as Executive Director at Dailyhunt and CEO at Oneindia, leading the company through remarkable growth and innovation. During his tenure, Ravanan held key roles as Vice President of Content Strategy and Head of Strategic Business. Before this, he also led marketing at Bharti Airtel and product management at Tata’s Tele Business Services.

As CEO of Oneindia, he spearheaded initiatives such as WISE & Spark Originals (AI-powered content and video solutions) and OneArabia, the company’s first international venture focused on the MENA market. Under his leadership, Oneindia underwent its first rebrand in 25 years, revitalising the company’s identity to meet the demands of a modern, digital-first audience.

Ravanan has been instrumental in driving Oneindia’s growth, positioning the company among the top 10 fastest-growing websites globally, while consistently delivering revenue and EBITDA growth despite dynamic market conditions. He is highly skilled at scaling businesses, enhancing operational efficiency, and leveraging technology to innovate.

Ravanan is based in Bengaluru, India. An alumnus of the Bangalore Military School & Bharathiar University, he holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He remains a passionate advocate for tech-driven transformation in the media industry.
