Rushva Parihar
Rushva Parihar is a Sustainability Coach and SDG expert with a demonstrated history of working towards sustainable development. He is the founder of a Sustainability consulting firm – AndSustainablity and a head of the Improving
Lives Foundation. In his decade-long career he has worked on developing policy with the United Nations, The World Economic Forum, The European Union and
Government of India in different capacities, with a focus on driving action towards the Sustainable Development Goals. As a Sustainability consultant, he has also guided various private sector corporations including Godrej Industries, Protos Engineering, Agesis
Logistics and OmniActive Health Technologies on transitioning towards net zero. His multi-sectoral experience allows him to cross-pollinate ideas and drive innovation and collaboration, both critical to combat climate change. His work has directly impacted over 800,000 people through climate justice initiatives that drive systemic action creating change at a macro and micro level in India.
He serves on the advisory board for the Professional Development Program at Brunel University London, Institute of Risk Management – India Affiliate, and BioRiidL. Additionally, he is also the outgoing curator for the Global Shapers Mumbai with the World Economic Forum.
It is an honour for me to be part of the pre-screening jury for the 2024-2025 edition. The sense of purpose of the team is infections and I am sure we will be able to honour change makers who are making the biggest difference at the grassroots.
