Santhosh Jayaram is an Advisor to HCL Technologies on sustainability. In his current role, he is working at the convergence of the two most powerful trends influencing the business landscape: Digitalization and Sustainability. He also has a new role as an Adjunct Professor of Practice at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham!

In his previous role as a partner at KPMG, he developed the biggest consulting team in sustainability and CSR not just across the global KPMG network but also across all peers in this region. Some of the work he did for clients when at KPMG is documented as case studies with leading academic institutes like Harvard and INSEAD.

His work in sustainability and CSR spans nearly 3 decades across 20 countries and multiple sectors. He has helped the early-stage development of standards in the field of sustainability functioning as a member in the standard development committees of GRI (G4) and Accountability. He currently functions as a member of the ESG advisory committee, and the Social Stock Exchange advisory committee set up by the market regulator, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). He is also a Global Future Council member at the World Economic Forum (WEF).
