Tarun Chugh is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bajaj Life Insurance and has been instrumental in transforming the company into one of India’s fastest-growing private life insurers among leading players. Under his leadership, the company has strengthened its customer-first philosophy, expanded its digital and distribution capabilities, and accelerated innovation across products, technology, and service delivery. He also led the company through a significant milestone with its transition to becoming a 100% Bajaj Group-owned entity. With over three decades of experience in the insurance industry, Tarun has previously held leadership roles at PNB MetLife and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance. He is a member of the Life Insurance Council and serves on multiple industry and academic advisory platforms, including Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur. An alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.
