SABERA™ acknowledges Individual changemakers as the  Real Heros creating social impact and putting India first!

These SABERA™ trophy winners have been relentlessly working to help put India on the road to development in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.

The list is in alphabetical order, and it includes awardees from the categories Promising Social leader – under 30 years of age, Social Leaders, Change Makers, as well as Responsible Business Leader & Lifetime achievement awardee.

Anil Ahluwalia (Change Maker Commendation) took the anguish of his wife’s cancer journey and built from it a national sanctuary of healing. With the mind of an administrator and the heart of a caregiver, he shaped Sanjeevani…Life Beyond Cancer into India’s leading model of psycho-social support, nutrition care, holistic healing and survivor livelihoods.

Aniket Deogar (Social Leader Commendation) is the founder of Haqdarshak that empowers citizens, especially rural women, smallholder farmers, and blue-collar workers, to access government welfare schemes through simple technology and trained local agents.

Ashis Mondal (Lifetime Achievement), Founder & Visionary of Action for Social Advancement (ASA), is an exemplary leader in sustainable rural development. Since 1996, his pioneering work has empowered over a million smallholder and tribal farmers.

Ayushi Jaiswal (Social Leader Commendation), a cultural practitioner and Head of Arts and Culture at Project FUEL, transforms the lived wisdom of overlooked communities into storybooks, digital archives, public art, and learning tools.

Bharathi Srinivasan (Change Maker Commendation) has transformed her lived experience into extraordinary service at AMBA, impacting adults with intellectual disabilities for 21 years.

Mahesh Babani, (Responsible Business Leader) Chairman & Managing Director of Privi Specialty Chemicals Ltd, has driven the company’s sustained growth since 1989. Under his stewardship, Privi has become a global leader in specialty chemicals, emphasizing sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence.

Pranshu Singhal (Change Maker Commendation) founder of Karo Sambhav, confronts one of India’s most urgent environmental crises by rebuilding the waste ecosystem from the ground up. Across 70 cities, he has created formal collection networks, empowered informal workers and built cutting-edge recycling systems that recover valuable materials once lost to pollution.

Rashi Kapoor (Change Maker) is a teacher-turned-cancer survivor who transformed her pain into a mission of support for rare tumour patients. After surviving multiple cancers and an amputation, she founded the Sachin Sarcoma Society, which now supports more than 9,000 patients and caregivers.

Sumitra Mishra (Social Leader) is a leading voice in advancing Early Childhood Care and Education for India’s most vulnerable children. As CEO of Mobile Creches, she has strengthened childcare systems, expanded access across states, and helped shape landmark creche and childcare policies.

Vinay Sharma (Social Leader Commendation), founder of Sinhayana Foundation, harnesses the transformative power of the arts to heal, uplift and open doors of opportunity for vulnerable children.
