सबेरा SABERA™ (Social and Business Enterprise Responsible Awards & Summit) is an independent Indian platform recognising and documenting measurable social, environmental and sustainable-development impact. Founded in 2018, SABERA brings together corporates, nonprofits, social enterprises and individual changemakers through an independent, multi-tier evaluation and jury process.
सबेरा SABERA™ takes its name from the Hindi word सबेरा — “a new dawn” — and stands for Social and Business Enterprise Responsible Awards & Summit. Founded in 2018 by Simply Suparnaa Media Network, a UN Women Awardee initiative, SABERA was created to amplify GOOD by recognising impactful ESG practices, sustainable-development initiatives and responsible leadership across India.
With the active support of industry leaders, changemakers and policy influencers, SABERA creates a platform for knowledge exchange, recognition and collaboration, helping catalyse greater sustainability and social impact.

How SABERA Works
Every entry undergoes a multi-tier evaluation process, including internal checks, external validation, Pre-Screening Council assessment and final Grand Jury deliberation.

Entries are evaluated by multiple jurors against defined criteria, with the highest-scoring entries progressing to the Grand Jury. Final winners are selected through collective jury deliberation, consensus and, where required, voting.

- Impact Stories & Leadership: Amplifying inspiring stories of change through India Leadership Blogs and Impact Leaders with Simply Suparnaa, featuring conversations with changemakers and SABERA awardees.
- Impact Observatory: Building a growing repository of India’s impact stories, organisations, initiatives and leaders, documenting the evolution of the country’s social and sustainability ecosystem.

- Independent & Apolitical: SABERA is non-partisan and apolitical, with an independent evaluation process.
- Multi-tier Evaluation: Entries undergo internal checks, external verification, pre-screening and Grand Jury evaluation, with multiple experts involved in the assessment process.
- Fair & Transparent: Entry fees and sponsorships support the platform but do not influence award outcomes. Winners are determined solely through the independent evaluation and jury process. Individual Award nominations are fee-free.
- Inclusive: SABERA recognises corporates, nonprofits, social enterprises and individual changemakers, including unsung grassroots leaders whose work may otherwise remain unseen.
